Hawthorn CC Juniors Cricket 2009/10

The Hawthorn Cricket Club re-established its juniors program in season 2001-02 and since this time has grown into a club that is home to in excess of 100 junior players.

The club endeavours to provide a fun and friendly environment for all junior players to develop their cricketing abilities, leadership skills and the understanding that comes with playing in a team environment.

Junior cricket plays a vital role in the future success of the Hawthorn CC. A number of current Senior 1st XI players including our 1st XI captain/coach Rob Tongue have come through the junior ranks. In addition, Hawthorn CC has five junior coaches playing cricket at the club with a median age of 25.

To find out more about our clubs junior program, its ethos, objectives and values please view the attached Junior Player Handbook.
