At last season's ECA Presentation Night, Skipper Rob Tongue was selected in the ECA Turf Team of the Decade to reflect his second consecutive winning of the Dunstan Shield Batting Averages. In 2009/10 Rob was awarded the Dunstan Medal,"Fairest & Best Player" judged by the umpires. Congratulations on an outstanding contribution to the Hawthorn CC.
HAWTHORN CC enters 4 Junior teams in 2011/12. Hawthorn Cricket Club has entered 4 Junior teams: 1 x Under 10s, 1 x Under 12s, and 2 x Under 16s. All Hawthorn teams play in the ECA. This is complimented with our Milo In2 Cricket program (formerly Milo Have a Go)
for 5 to 10 year old boys and girls.

Vic. Bushrangers Junior Clinic at Hawthorn CC 
Victorian Bushrangers Damien Wright and Jon Holland held a special clinic for our Under 14s and 16s Junior players. It was organised through Primary Edge for the club's support of the Cricket Victoria playing tops which are compulsory at the club. It gave our kids the unique opportunity of being trained by Victorian cricketers and to learn from them throughout the session and during the question and answer session.
